I showed you my bar stools/chairs a few weeks ago I redid.
Post on chairs.
I have been on the hunt ever since for the perfect little bar table for them. I have not found exactly what I want, but its been driving my crazy that I don't have a table. So that I didn't spend a bunch of money on a table that was not perfect, I created myself this 6 dollar temporary table which shall keep me happy until I find the perfect table.

I bought this round cork board at Goodwill for 3.99, It had standard height table legs that I took off. I bought the piece I used to drill the table and wall together for 2.19 in the hardware section at a local store.

Then I put a table cloth on it and wa-la! I have a little table.

I love this little table cloth I got at Goodwill a while back, but it is too small for my table so I am happy I now have somewhere to use it.

When I do find the perfect real table for these chairs I think I will get something just a tad bit larger then this one. But this defiantly works now for the time being.

Of course the first two sit at the table were Bella & Lacie.

Today we also had a little photo shoot, my babies and I. I needed a new more recent picture of my 3 loves all together. We took about 60 pictures and I could only narrow it down to my 10 favorite lol. I am trying to decide which one to order to frame for my home.

Silver spray paint

I decided to give these mirrors and picture above my love seat a face lift!

Here is the picture and mirrors before they were painted, as you can see they kind of stuck out because they didn't match the colors of the rest of the room. The picture frame was a dark wood color and the mirrors were gold.

I painted the picture frame my usual white. This picture is of my little sister Chantel when she was really little it is so sweet. I decided to try something new with the mirrors. I used a silver spray paint made by Krylon called silver foil metallic. This paint is so neat I love the effect it gave.

I liked the silver spray paint so much it inspired me to paint the mirrors on my mantel as well.

The mirrors were this light gold color before.

One thing I found very interesting about this paint is they way it sprays, its so smooth, compared to normal paint it feel so silky coming out of the can.

My Vanity.

This weekend I gave my vanity a makeover! You haven't seen my vanity yet because it is my guest room which I have never shown on my blog yet.

The vanity was black before I repainted it white this weekend. I used to do my bedroom in Black and white (this used to be in my bedroom, before I moved) mostly black furniture, I look back now and wonder what I was thinking, this was the final black thing left now everything is white!

I actually contemplated getting rid of the vanity, I just wasn't feeling it so much anymore. But I am soooo glad I kept it and painted it white! The vanity is like a new vanity to me now I love it!

I decided to leave the chair seat the black & white in memory of my old bedroom! hehe. I may end up changing it later but it is fine for now.

The baby in the photo is me with my father.

This little project has been the perfect inspiration for me to really start making my guest room pretty, I am sure you will be seeing more of my guest room soon.

Happy Valentine's Day!

My 13 year old sister Chantel bought me this beautiful rose with her own money isn't that just too sweet!?

My mother made me this gorgeous card, she is so talented.

I am in love with this hanging winged heart my mother made for me. I hung it on my chandelier just for the photo as soon as I get the right hook it will be hanging in my kitchen window. I love it!

My mother also made me this wonderful little pin cushion, It's just too cute & I really needed one, being I just am beginning to get into sewing. Again, I love it!

My sweet boyfriend got me this little cutie.

The beautiful white roses are also from my loving boyfriend.

So so pretty!

Bar chairs weekend makeover!

This weekend I made a fun little project for myself out of redoing these chairs.

I purchased these chairs on Thursday night, at a local new Goodwill grand opening, I paid 14.99 per chair.

I first primed and painted the chairs white.

After the paint dried I distressed the details with a product called rub n' buff, in a blue green color.

The cushion is actually covered twice. I first covered it with white fabric (just a white sheet). Then I went over the white with this blue lace.

I then added on this little ruffle I made with the ruffle attachment on my sewing machine.

I love that these chairs are even so cute from the back . They look great no matter what angle you look at them from.

Currently I am on the hunt at thrift stores and on craigslist to find a small pub table to go with these chairs

This weekend I also painted and distressed this mirror, I recently purchased at goodwill. I am Still debating on the perfect place to hang it, most likely the mirror wall I'm planning on doing.
