Mirrors!

Almost two months ago now my mother and I went to the Junk sisters Show. I have yet to share with you the two beautiful mirrors I got there, so that just what I am going to do today!

Here is the first mirror. I hung it above my guest bed, it is the perfect size to fill up that big empty spot I had before. I spray painted it white. The mirror was gold when I bought it for 25 dollars at the show.

This is what the mirror looked like before I painted it, still gorgeous at its original state, just not the right color for my home.

It's going to be so pretty when I get a crystal chandelier for this room, like I am planning on. The crystals will be reflecting in the mirror, I can't wait!

Here I am at the show eyeing the other mirror, I knew when I saw it I had to have it!
I bought this mirror at the booth of Gypsy Soul.

It was a challenge to fit it in my car, but it was worth it when I got it home.

This mirror is the official start of my wall of mirrors I have been planning! I didn't even  have to paint this mirror it was perfect the color it already was.

Eventually I plan to fill the whole wall up the stair case with vintage mirrors.
( To Grandma: I have hopes that you will find me some vintage mirrors this summer at garage sales!)
I am going to need ALOT of mirrors to fill the whole wall

The mirror just looks perfect here.
I can't wait to paint the staircase railings white it will look so much better white.

Thanks for visiting!

Hall Table

This table is in my hallway upstairs.

Right next to my master bedroom as you can see here.

I bought this table at Homegoods, about a month ago. I rarely buy furniture all done up already, since I love redoing it myself but this was to cute to pass up, and for 59.99 it was a great deal too.

I love how it has the applique on the front.

This mirror is the mirror I briefly showed in my post about my bar chairs a while back. I bought this mirror at Goodwill for 19.99 , it was gold I spray painted it white and added some blue rub n buff. You may not recognize the mirror because I had it sitting the tall way in the picture, I showed of it before, I had thought originally that would be how I would hang it. But it worked out perfectly being hung horizontally instead above this table.

I got these silver candle sticks at Goodwill when they were half off, I got them for 1.50 each score! The crystal candelabra was a Homegoods buy.

Thanks for visiting my blog, come back soon!

My New Blue/Green Crystal Chandelier

I found this chandelier on Craigslist a few weeks ago. When I had seen the picture of the chandelier I was planning to put it in my guest room, because it looked very blue, which is the color of my guestroom. When I met up with the person to get this chandelier it was much more green the I expected, but I was pleasantly surprised because the color was perfect for my main living area, which I have also been looking for a chandelier for. I love how unique this one is.

Here pictured above is the picture of the chandelier from the craigslist add. From the add I thought the crystals were clear, and probably plastic because the person was only asking 94.00 dollars or best offer. Whenever someone says or best offer I always feel I should try to get a better deal, so I emailed him and offered 75 which he said yes too. When I got the chandelier I kind of felt bad for getting it for such a cheap price because the crystals were not plastic at all they are real beautiful crystals and not just that, they are not the normal clear they are a gorgeous light blue-green color so unique and perfect for my house!

I found the ceiling medallion on Ebay. I just love the look the ceiling medallion gives the chandelier and the whole room, it makes it so much more dramatic, which I love! My step Dad was so nice to come over and hang up the chandelier and the medallion, he also installed a dimmer switch on the light switch that controls the light of the Chandelier.

The chandelier is hanging above my coffee table (I am washing my soft white rug I usually have here, looks weird to me in the photo without it)

Bella & Lacie see a camera and know to pose haha.

There they go again! Lol. I promise I did not put them there, they do this stuff on their own, they are so cute.

I LOVE the colored/ tinted crystals!!!

You get  just a tiny bit of a sneak peek of my counter tops new look in the background of this photo and a few others, I just reviewed the product Giani Granite this past weekend as soon as it dries (14 days!) I will being doing a post to share with you all, I can't wait so far I am loving it!

I made sure to hang the chandelier  high enough that you can still see the TV from all different areas!
I love how pretty the chandelier looks reflecting in the big mirror.

 See you next time!

My Guest Bedroom

This is my guest bedroom's first time really being pictured on my blog. I haven't shown it yet because I was really holding out until I painted it, which I just did, I started Monday night after work and finished Wednesday night after work. It took 3 days because I had too not only paint the walls, but the trims, door, and ceiling.

I love how the vanity is reflecting in the picture.

I am currently looks for the perfect crystal chandelier to hang over the bed, like how I have it in my bedroom.

For those of you who are thinking my guest bedroom looks a a bit familiar, and since this is my first time showing my guest room you may be wondering where you have seen it before. Well it very much reminds me of my Mother's bedroom, Probably the main reason being is she gave me her left over paint, from when she painted hers in her home, and there's still some left! Lucky me. I am really happy because I just love the color of her rooom and it gave me an excuse to copy! hehe
Inspiration photo.
My Mother's bedroom pictured above.

I am a tad bit obsessed with mirrors especially when they are reflecting such pretty things around the room.

My vanity is the only thing I have showed on my blog before in my guest room. It looks so much better against the blue wall.

Bella is always trying to be in the pictures Lol.
