Adding appliques to bathroom cabinets

Appliques are a really quick and simple way to add a lot of detail to furniture.

All you have to do is use wood glue and painters tape (to hold the applique on while the glue dries) to attach. Then paint over the appliques, and they appear to be apart of the woodwork once done.

It's really hard to take pictures of this bathroom since there is no natural light, and it is so small.

Before appliques. These cabinets were originally wood. I painted them white some time ago.

My half bathroom has come a long way. From a couple years ago.

I think these appliques gave the cabinets just the extra bit of character that they needed.

I still want to use the counter top paint I used in my kitchen, to change to color of the counter top up a bit, and also add crystal knobs to the cabinets.

Little Leo is doing so great, he had his stitches taken out a few days ago, and is healing up great, he such a little hyper maniac!

New family photo & an update on Leo

You may notice Alien is actually in this group shot! Alien is the last cat on the right. She rarely is in my pictures because she does not get along well with the other animals. She only likes Little Bunny Fufu, that is why she is sitting by him, but as you can tell by her expression she is still pretty ticked off. Poor Alien.

 

Alien is my Boyfriend Sidney's cat that he had way before I met him. He got her when he was about 11 so that makes Alien almost 14 now. She's a nice cat she is very shy though. She does not like other animals unfortunately. Luckily all the other animals get along really well but I always feel so bad for Alien she's like the odd ball out of the group :( 

 

New Blog header.

I decided to redo my blog header since my last pet pic did not have Bentley, Leo or Alien in it. It was sad for me to change it because now my sweet Louie (rip) is no longer in the picture.

Leo's rescue story

 

Leo is doing so good! You would not believe how good he does on his 3 legs! He is sooooo fast!

Leo is so fast he fly's up the stairs!

I seriously think Leo gets up the stairs with his 3 legs way faster than all my other cats did with 4 legs, at his same age.
