I have not wanted to put my Christmas decor away, and haven't put much of it away yet, I just love it too much! One thing I have decided to do though is redo my centerpiece to a non Christmas themed one.
I placed my items on a cake stand, and put a regular door hanging wreath around the bottom. The spear shaped thing is actually a Christmas tree ornament I thought it looked nice laying there.
Inspiration Photo:
My inspiration for my center piece was the centerpiece my Mother recently did. I tried to use lots of mercury glass as she did to get a similar look.
I am very happy with it. I am actually sitting at my table with my laptop making this post so I can sit here and enjoy it.
That looks so pretty Janae--I am flattered I was your inspiration:)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty - both yours and your mother's. I love mercury glass.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful centerpiece! You are so artistic & creative. I remember you doing "art" with Grandpa when you were just a little girl. :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love both displays.

Your centrepiece is beautiful, it reminds me of a very lavishly deorated Christmas cake covered with thick white Royal icing.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful you are just as talented as your mom!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteWonderful idea for a centerpiece! It looks very festive and wintry. I hadn't thought of combining a cakestand with a wreath, but it looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteVery elegant centerpiece. You always seem to look at objects in a new way and pull things together so creatively.

I'm loving your centerpiece. I can certainly understand why you don't want to put your Christmas decos away. Your things look so wintery. I don't think they need to be tucked away.

The centerpiece is beautiful, even better since you already had the elements to make it. What a pleasant piece to admire.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this great idea at Potpourri Friday!
