Yesterday was a big day for my little Lacie. Lacie got spayed, she also had 5 of her baby teeth pulled, got her rabies vaccine & micro chip. As most animals do Lacie really hates the cone, but the second I take it off of her she tries to lick her stitches so I have to keep it on her. I feel so sad for her, with not only her tummy hurting from her incision but also her mouth hurting, my poor baby. She has been such a good sport though and so sweet, she just wants to cuddle with me, and sleep it off. Bella seems so concerned about Lacie too. I am so glad I have the whole week off work to watch over her ( this is why I did it this week). I was really extra worried about getting Lacie spayed because she is hypoglycemic. Laice went into heat a month ago though, so I knew I had to do it before the 2nd heat. I am so happy to have her home and so relived that everything went well.
Awww, poor baby girl. I hope she has a smooth recovery. Awesome that you get to stay home with her and watch over her. If she is like my pugs, tomorrow she will be acting like nothing happened. :)
ReplyDeleteShe is such a sweet baby. I am so glad everything went well!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad she is home. I hate to leave my babies at the vet. The other puppies always know when one is not up to par - their own built-in instinct.
ReplyDeleteGuard those knees of yours - I know that flooring is hard on them when you are installing. You sure picked a wonderful color.
Hugs,
Connie
How lucky your pets are to have you to care for them. You have done an outstanding job on the floors. Patricia
ReplyDeleteShe looks so sweet in her little pink bed. She looks like a little doggie princess.
ReplyDeleteAw, poor sweet baby! Hope she is back to her normal frisky self as soon as possible.
