Cute Little Chair Makeover

I am so happy with how it turned out!

BEFORE
Here is the chair before, it had good bones but not just quite my style. My mother actually found this chair one day without me at a thrift shop. She bought it because she knew I would want it, she was right! I love cane backing & I love queen ann legs.
First I spray painted the chair white. Then I recovered the chair using a fabric I got at a thrift store for 99 cents! That I just love & had been waiting for the perfect project to use it for.
Then I glued on this cute little pom pom trim.
Then
Viola! It's done!
The babies approve, & they are happy with their larger than life picture of them above.

  7. ooooh, I so love this and love seeing your beautiful home. You and your mum so inspire me. Although,I have so much furniture I have accumulated over a lot of years,I am not sure I could set to with the paint brush. I do sometimes get the urge though. I would probably need another lifetime to get through it all. xx

  12. The chair turned out beautifully! Your rabbit cracks me up. You're the only person I know who has a rabbit and I never knew that they could be made to stand still to have their photo taken.

  13. Oh how lovely! It is marvelous that your mother found the chair and knew you'd love it - looks wonderful now - especially with those sweet pets of yours atop them - just the right size for that spot in the room. I hope you have a marvelous weekend,
