Easter Decor & Meet Frankie a new friend for Little Bunny Fufu

Today I started decorating for Easter. I love decorating for Easter because I love pastels and cute little bunny figures.

I just got this rabbit holding the blue flower the other day at Micheals. It is so cute!

My centerpiece on my table.

Sleepy Pups.

These bunnies are on my hutch all year long.

You may notice one of bunnies in the photo above looks awfully real!

Well that's because he is. Meet Frankie.

I really thought after our recent adoption of Lilly we were done adding furry member to ours family, we for sure have a full house. But I was wrong, I have been doing some reading and all the rabbit experts said you should always have rabbits in pairs, I did not know this before and was feeling guilty that Little Bunny Fufu was probably lonely, so I decided to get him a friend. I adopted Frankie from Oregon Humane Society on Saturday, he is a 4 month neutered male lion head ( Fufu is neutered also). So far so good with the bunnies bonding, I think in no time they will be best buds. I feel really guilty now that Fufu was only bunny for so long after reading how important the experts thought it was for them to have a friend.

I again had to retake the furry family photo, I was amazed how good Frankie was it was like he knew what to do, hes fitting right in perfectly. Poor Alien (on the end) looks mad like she always does in pictures, she really is a sweet girl I know in these pictures you can't tell.
Thanks for hopping over.

  1. Lol--I enjoyed hopping over! Frankie is so darn cute and so sweet...just like Fufu. I hope Frankie and Fufu spend many years together :) I love your new fur kids photo and you are right he looks like he knows just how to pose. You have such a gift with animals. Your house looks so beautiful! I love your Easter decorating--you sure have gotten a lot of decorations for Easter over the years. I only have a few things now I think I need more. I am so proud of you and everything you do.

  2. Oh my goodness...your home is delightful...so pretty with all of the Easter decorations.!! Your new little bunny, Frankie, is adorable. You have always loved Easter fun. Remember how you used to color eggs with us and then go hunting for candy eggs in the back yard? Like your Mother, I am very proud of you & feel so blessed to be your grandmother.

  4. Your house looks so nice & spring-y! I'm hoping spring really will come to Chicagoland this year! At least some of the snow is finally melting. I think it might get to 50 today!!!
It's nice that Fufu has a new buddy! However, I don't think you need to fret about him feeling lonely before Frankie came along. He couldn't possibly be lonely with all of his fur friends around the house! : )

  8. You are soon going to need to build on an addition to house all your fur babies! Frankie is adorable, but I don't think he is a Lion Head... I raised rabbit for years and Lion heads have short ears and little puggy noses... He is most likely a mix, but unless you plan on breeding that shouldn't be problem. He looks like a sweet bunny, I hope he and Fu Fu are the best of friends!
    God bless you for having

  12. The Easter decor is adorable! What a beautiful family you have! I never cease to be amazed at how you can get them all to sit still next to each other without fighting or jumping off while you take the picture. I've tried to do this several times and in the few seconds it takes me to turn around and pick up the next kitty or puppy to set him on the bed, the first one has already jumped down and run off. I've never been able to get a picture of even two or three of my pets together, let alone eleven of them! You really do have a gift!
