Easter Weekend 2013

Hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday weekend!
I sure had a fun weekend!
Yesterday my pups and I went to my parents house to color Easter eggs with my Brother and Sister.

I colored an egg which each of my pets name on it.

Than this morning my babies got their Easter baskets.

They are pretty lucky pups. The Easter bunny spoiled them this year.

They loved all the goodies they got.
It was funny they each got that sock money dressed as a bunny each in a different color. All 3 of them picked that out first, also funny since that was the first toy I picked out for them at PetSmart, Guess this pommy mommy knows her babies well.

The video below if of my babies getting their Easter baskets.

Ever since I got the Easter decorations out a couple weeks ago, Billie has wanted to be in this basket. He spend probably half his day in it, it's hilarious how much he likes it.

We went over again to my parents today again for a doggie Easter egg hunt & Easter dinner.
My babies got dressed in their matching Easter outfits (boy & girls versions) before going to my parents house.

The doggie Easter egg hunt was a lot of fun

We put meat into the Easter eggs, my Dad drilled holes in the plastic eggs prior so they could smell the eggs and "hunt" for them.

Daisy & Duke

Bella was the pro of the Easter egg hunt she was finding eggs and opening them right up. The other dogs were needing some help. We knew Bella would be good at this, anyone who knows Bella knows she LOVES food way way more than any of the other dogs.

The video below is clips from the doggie Easter egg hunt

It amazes me how good Bella was at finding and popping open the eggs so fast!

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter.
Thanks for visiting!

  3. It was a fun time! Good idea Dad had to put the holes in the Easter eggs so the dogs could smell them. I love your dogs Easter outfits. I think I need an 8x10 of that one with the white background.

  4. Adorable and such a good idea to drill holes and stuff the eggs with meat. I will have to try this next Easter with my Maltese and Yorkie. They love treats/meat so it should be a hit with them also. Happy Easter

  10. Hi Janae! Thank you so much for stopping by and visiting me! This post made so happy! You have the cutest fur babies! I dont know how you get them to sit so nice for these pics! Mine would never do that, lol. How sweet to get them their own Easter baskets too! Love it :) Your little bunny is too darn cute for words. Bunnies are my favorite animal. I have a pet lop named Sunshine :) I will post some pics on her on my blog soon. And I have to tell you, I LOVE your house!! It is amazing that you are a homeowner at your age! What an accomplishment and so much better than throwing money away on rent :)
    Hugs,
